Statement of Intent

The main aim of teaching French to pupils at Lodge Farm is to develop an enthusiastic and positive attitude to other languages and language learning. It is hoped that this will inspire pupils to have a life-long learning of languages. As a result, it will enhance their understanding of the world and their future economic well-being. It will also aid the pupils to have high aspirations for their future careers, as being able to speak a foreign language can be very beneficial.
