Introduction to service

Our Family Support service is here to support you at the doorstep of our school.

​Being a parent/carer brings many challenges throughout your child’s life. We are here to support your every need by offering a professional and a non-judgmental service. All of our work is carried out in line with your child’s School Safeguarding procedures and policies as we work closely with Walsall Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and many other professionals and offer a variety of support within all areas of mental, emotional well-being and social development.  For all children as well as their parents. 


Our aim is to ensure your child is happy, safe and thriving within the school. Some of the areas of support on offer for you and your child are:

  • Housing concerns

  • Bereavement

  • Positive intervention groups for children

  • Raise awareness of bullying/internet safety

  • Tailored packages to support individual needs of children

  • Training opportunities for both parents/carers

  • Refer parents to Services within Wolverhampton and Walsall , such as speech and language., school health team.

  • Developing groups and workshops for parents within the School.

  • Home visits to listen to any concerns within your safe environment, support around attendance.

  • Our team advocate and take the lead on Early Help referral and assessments.

  • One to one tailored interventions

  • Mental Health and Well- being support for all children (see mental and well being page)

We work closely with a variety of external services in the community and children’s services. This helps us to identify the right support and intervention to meet the needs of your child and family where additional help is needed.
